An Egyptian writer, producer and actor. He has wrote many works between cinema, theater and television, as well as participating in acting or producing some of his works. He's known for The Queen’s Honey, The Dancer and the Drummer and Bitter Bread. He passed away in 1989.

FilmDramThe teacher (Sayed) Arabji lives with his wife (Fakiha) and children, the lottery seller (Shalbia) convinces him to buy a paper from her to try his luck. He earns a thousand pounds, and decides to use it for the adventure. The people of the neighborhood are happy for him, except for Sheikh (Nair), who informs him that the amount will be spent in nightclubs, but the amount is already growing in gambling.
