Film10.0Müzik"El Concierto Subacuático" is the sixth music DVD released by Argentine rock musician Charly García. The DVD contains footage from the artist's concert at the José Amalfitani Stadium on Friday, October 23, 2009 (a concert that was considered by many to be García's "return" to the Argentine stage after a long rehabilitation from drug addiction). The title refers to a phrase that the musician himself said during the concert "This is the first underwater concert in the world" because the show took place during torrential rain.
FilmMüzikBelgeselIt portrays the meeting between a young filmmaker and Charly García on a summer night in 1994 at the studio of Fitz Roy and Córdoba, where the musician performed extensive night rehearsals without interruption, wrote the lyrics at the time, practiced them for hours and recorded them on tape with the analog equipment of the time. This film brings together chamber confessions, details of the composition and sacred respect among talented musicians, as well as acrobatic exercises in the pool. A unique and unforgettable night about the creative processes of a legend.
