For 40 year old Nikola, everyday life is just about producing the worst, the most vulgar reality shows and hidden cameras for TV. His life begins to change when he starts to mentor young girl pushed to be star by her ambitious mother. In turn of the events, Nikola starts to wonder if it is he who is the target of some hidden camera show.

The plot of this film can be viewed from a two different levels. The first is universal and deals with the psychological theme of need for competition in the group, highlighting the need for the victory, which in life usually does not depend on the true virtues of the winner, so the result is usually tragicomic. The story talks about the choice of the most noble work. Selected participants arrive at the guesthouse on the border between Croatia and Serbia to prepare for the final act of the competition and the jury's decision. Seven competitors have a rather narrow view of the world. Even when the big events, such as ethnic conflicts in this part of the Balkans, the contestants insist to proceed the competition and to choose the hero of heroes, even though the very idea of competition has become anachronistic under the pressure of current events (the anger of the local Serbian population of the newly established Croatian authorities).

Antonio and Nikola are inseparable friends who live across the road from each other, and share a love of pyrotechnics and mobile phones. Their families have been in dispute for years over an easily resolvable problem: the water that flows from the top house to the bottom house. The boys’ friendship, as they are about to enter puberty, is put to the test at Christmas time when their families uncover much more dangerous secrets and interests, and the water just carries the hate of the adults to the children.

Together with Simon Besedić, alcoholic and editor of Armageddon Monthly, the magazine that deals with the paranormal phenomena, Nikola Mrzopoljić, manual labourer and paterfamilias, and Eta, pharmacist and unusual prostitute which Besedić offers a relationship, he experiences a sequence of weird events...

Winder is an antiwar drama, the kind, tragicomic way, the story of the famous, seemingly old-fashioned, but often love among family and friends, who in this adaptation is set out as a national form. The film tells about two well-men, Misula (Boro Stjepanovic) and Puja (Ljubomir Bandovic), contradictory attitudes and opinions which, in everyday disputes, revealed apparent mutual hostility and indifference, but also a joy to be doomed to a life together. Misula in this respect the embodiment of the old sages, and the apprentice's Pujo naive hasty hedonist. While glossed over planes and bomb Serbia, these two ordinary man, coincidentally ignorant of the events, marathon busy digging wells to a sardonic but humorous way, dissolve pitful weight and personal lives. Besides well-men unaware of the historical moment and one Valjevo village lives almost bizarre, peacetime everyday, until the sound of explosions killer time approaching.

It follows Marija an ice skater who lives with her father. When her father's girlfriend moves in, Marija realizes that she cannot trust her. The love of a young businessman will give her the strength to accept herself and her sexuality.

1st STORY: The Waiting Room. Vanja and Dara, women of the middle-age, from different social status, met in the hall of the waiting room of a hospital, waiting to be called to prepare for abortion. This unexpected meeting will start a lot of questions in their mind, and make them reconsider their decision. 2nd STORY: The Road. A country, somewhere in Serbia: mother is taking her daughter, along the road, to the doctor who lives alone in a wagon, in which he makes illegal abortions. All over that journey there is collision between mother's traditional attitude against pregnancy before marriage and daughter's youthful wish for a birth of a new life from love. 3rd STORY: Water. Nada, a young woman in late twenties, remembered in a prison cell, the tragical events which made her kill her husband. In the hospital, where she was taken by a police car, for making abortion of his child, she met a person, who she didn't expect to meet.

Stevan Jakovljević, a biology teacher and World War I veteran who fought for the Serbian army, arrives to the celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the end of the war and the opening of an ossuary in the village where he used to be stationed with his first company, the Fifth Artillery Battery. Through the intimate stories of seven young directors, October is the generational attitude towards Serbia today, shown in different perspectives and through different genres - from black comedy to melodrama, poetic portrait to the socially engaged horror. Motif that binds all of the stories together is the tenth anniversary of the democratic revolution. Each film is taking place on that day, 5th of October in 2010, and each film is differently related to the anniversary and what that event means 10 years after. The film brings fresh visions of the seven young directors who were teenagers at the time of the overthrow of president Milosevic and his regime. On a personal and emotional way they show a complex picture of modern Serbia.

Alek (Gordan Kicic) is desperate because Teodora (Milica Mihajlovic) has left him after a three years being together. He is suffering, he is apathetic and is mentioning suicide constantly, he simply doesn't want to accept that the relationship is over. He has self-pitying sessions with his friend Bane (Milos Samolov) everyday. Despite Bane's advice, Alek keeps calling Teodora who has fallen in love with Nemanja (Branislav Trifunovic) in the meantime. However decisive and tough Teodora is when she is with Alek, she is as indulgent and helpless when she is spending time with Nemanja. The problem is that Nemanja is not in love with her but with Marina (Vanja Ejdus), a girl by a few years younger. Unfortunately, Marina is not in love with him, she is very attracted to Alek's "Slavic depression". She doesn't know that reason for his "charm of a desperate" is his failure with Teodora, she thinks Alek was born like that.
