  Filmin konusu Fransız ordusundaki komuta kademesinin savaşmak istemeyen askerlere gözdağı verip korkutmak amacıyla suçsuz askerleri kurşuna dizmesidir. Fransız Ordusu da savaş sırasında diğer müttefik orduları gibi korkaklık suçundan dolayı infazlar gerçekleştirmiştir. Ancak filmin merkezinde duran sorun, verilen emre karşı gelerek saldırıya geçmeyen tüm cephenin yerine rastgele seçilen askerlerin kurşuna dizilmesidir. Bu tür cezalandırma tarihte Romalılar tarafından yaygın olarak uygulanmıştır. Onuncunun cezalandırılması olarak dilimize çevrilebilecek decimation cezasında suçlular arasından her on kişiden bir tanesi öldürülerek ceza uygulanır. Bu ceza Fransız Ordusunda, Flanders yakınlarında 15 Aralık 1914 tarihinde geri çekilen Cezayir Alayı 8.Tabur 10. Bölük askerleri hücum emrine uymayınca uygulanmıştır...

  WWII is entering its last phase: Germany is in ruins, but does not yield. The US army lacks crucial knowledge about the German units operating on the opposite side of the Rhine, and decides to send two German prisoners to gather information. The scheme is risky: the Gestapo retains a terribly efficient network to identify and capture spies and deserters. Moreover, it is not clear that "Tiger", who does not mind any dirty work as long as the price is right, and war-weary "Happy", who might be easily betrayed by his feelings, are dependable agents. After Tiger and another American agent are successfully infiltrated, Happy is parachuted in Bavaria. His duty: find out the whereabouts of a powerful German armored unit moving towards the western front.

  This movie is about one summer holiday in the life of the famous children's book character Heidi, the orphan girl who lives with her grandfather (whom Heidi, like everybody else including the cast list, calls "Alm Uncle") on the outskirts of a small village in the Alps. Heidi has a gift of three carved wooden figures made by a craftsman neighbour: Caspar, Melchior and Balthazar. However, rather than gold, frankincense, and myrrh, her grandfather and the village doctor gradually teach Heidi the idea that the gifts they bring are faith, charity and hope.
