Jonathan, a dreamer and wannabe stand-up comedian in his late 20's, still lives with parents. After another failed open mic performance he gets drunk and crashes his father's car on the way home. This is the last straw for his loving but fed up parents and his father kicks him out of the house. Having nowhere to go he becomes a carguard. After a very hostile reception by the other carguards, the eldest carguard decides to take Johnathan under his wing and teaches him the finer art of being a carguard and more important he teaches Jonathan about life and how to survive as an outcast. Jonathan also falls in love with a girl way out of his league. Will he be able to apply the lessons learned to make peace with his family, earn the forgiveness of his mentor and win the heart of the most beautiful girl he ever met?

Mareike (Lika Berning) is a city girl and successful in her demanding career. The same can not be said for her love life. After a confrontation with her boss, she decides to swop the city for the platteland and a bakery that she inherited from an aunt. But her new life in the small town is more than she expected. Apart from the fact that she must trade her business suits for an apron, things really hot up when she must choose between Mr Handsome and Mr Right.

This time, Leon Schuster plays a filmmaker who is making a candid camera movie, only to discover that another filmmaker has stolen his ideas and is making the identical picture. How so? It seems that the thieving rival is blackmailing Schuster´s girlfriend. With the help of his friends and an ingenious talking cap that he designed himself, the good director manages to outwit the baddie, get the girl and make the country laugh.

"Hoesê!" This is a film based on the South African sitcom by the same name; such name referring to the manual telephone system operated by one of the cast. In addition to the usual (mostly mature) cast, pretty girl Zoli Marki muddles things up. Add to this a mix-up with a heyday homelands casino for further comedy and confusion.
