In 1838, François-Xavier Bouchard fights beside his Québec countrymen and the English minority.

At a Montreal railway station, passengers are stranded because of a snowstorm. One of the stranded, Pierre-Paul, discovers a young schoolgirl on the brink of suicide. While he searches for someone to intervene, Chili, the young girl, disappears, only to reappear of her own accord after Pierre-Paul's fruitless search. This brief encounter leads to flashback revelations and interaction among the supporting characters also stranded in the storm.

A year had passed since the last aventure of Olivier and his friends. The day before his birthday, the door through space and time re-opened. This time, Olivier and his friends would have to face El Diablo, who became captain since the last time, and his mens, lost in the middle on the jungle and being hunt down by the spanish army.

Fleeing from some other children who want to beat him, Olivier meets the ghost of a Pirate who every hundred years tries to find a parchment. Olivier agrees to help him. But in doing so he is captured by a bunch of pirates. The other children of the village discover a door thru time and space in an old haunted house and decide to rescue Olivier from Captain Monbars' pirates.

L'Amour avec un Grand A is a French-Canadian television series which aired from 1988 to 1995. The series explores different complex sexual and taboo issues. Some notable subjects include: Rape, Teen Obsession, Age Difference in love, Homosexuality and Married, Schizophrenia, Spousal Abuse. The series lasted 7 years and was very popular in Quebec. It was written by Janette Bertrand.
