Christmas Eve, 1995. Two best friends meet up to spend their holidays together after a long period of absence. Whilst reminiscing about the coming of age in late 1950s Zagreb, they remember a mysterious woman they both fell in love with during that time.

Young Koko has just moved with his parents from his idyllic countryside home to a big city. There, with the help of his new friends and a neighbour he investigates the mysterious case of a dead old man who used to live in the flat he has just moved into. Koko and the Ghosts is a family film based on a popular Croatian series of young-adult novels written by Ivan Kušan.

After a famous actor is dumped by his lover on New Year's Eve, he starts seeking comfort in unusual places, eventually finding it in the arms of a compassionate nun.

The series follows various Croatian celebrities paired up with professional dancers competing for the win an elimination-style format.
