The newcomers Pradip and his sister Rekha, played by Mahendru, gave him hope that he could do better in his life. An estranged couple accidentally meet in a railway station's waiting room and revisit their past.

Daata Guru (Amrish Puri) is a wealthy, powerful, and influential head of a village. He owns and controls all the villagers and their properties.
