The story behind and around famous American director Nicholas Ray's 1960s stay in SFR Yugoslavia. The celebrated director who was the toast of Hollywood only a decade earlier having made Rebel Without a Cause has fallen on hard times and is now desperately trying to re-establish his spiraling film career. On the other hand, his powerful host, Avala Film director and former Yugoslav secret service operative Ratko Dražević, is dreaming big dreams - he is trying to establish a 'Hollywood behind the Iron Curtain' of sorts.

The dramatic action film follows a soldier who ventures to America in search of his long lost brother, unaware that his brother may hold the key to a devastating weapon their father developed years ago and that a terrorist now wants to possess.

Larin izbor is a Croatian telenovela created by Jelena Popović Volarić and written by Tomislav Hrpka. The series premiered on September 4, 2011 on Nova TV. It has been sold to over seventeen countries worldwide.

Ranjeni orao was a Serbian television show produced in 2008 and aired on RTS1 during late 2008 and early 2009. The 17 episode series is based on the 1936 novel "Ranjeni orao" by Serbian author Mir Jam. The show had unprecedented success with the last episode averaging over 3 million viewers, making it the most watched Serbian television series ever made.

The story begins at the darkest moment in 1916 when the country is occupied, the army on Corfu. The plot follows the historical events until 1921 and the death of King Peter, ie the Great War, the liberation of the country, the creation of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
